I’m Ian Clark. I live in Toronto, where I design innovative, AI-driven web apps.
I’ve been working with technology since I was 13, when I wrote my first program in Macromedia Flash. That early hands-on experience sparked a lifelong passion for building and problem-solving. Today, I focus on creating innovative web applications with React, Next.js, and AI technologies.
My journey has been anything but linear. In 2022, I gave myself the space to explore new possibilities, relocating to a new country and immersing myself in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and yoga. These experiences taught me discipline, adaptability, and new ways of communicating—skills that now inform my approach to building intuitive and impactful software.
My current focus is on the intersection of AI and user interfaces, where I’m exploring how large language models (LLMs) and tools like the Vercel AI SDK can be used to create dynamic, generative UIs that adapt in real-time to user behavior. I’m constantly tinkering, whether integrating back-end services like Supabase, experimenting with cost-effective tools like Turso, or leveraging React Server Components to improve performance and interactivity.
I’m excited to bring this mindset—combining technical expertise, creativity, and a user-first approach—to a forward-thinking team. My goal is to create transformative digital experiences that solve real-world problems and push the boundaries of what technology can do.
